About Me

How I started in Pickleball

It all began on a warm, summery day in 2023 when my brother-in-law sent me a simple message: “Meet me at the park.” I had no idea what he had planned, and I definitely didn’t know he was about to introduce me to a sport that would become a big part of my life. When I arrived, he handed me a paddle and pointed toward a court I had never seen before. Pickleball? I didn’t even know what kind of game that was.

With my background in table tennis, I figured I’d give it a try. How different could it be? As it turns out, different enough to challenge me, but familiar enough to hook me instantly. The first few rallies were all it took. The mix of quick reflexes, strategy, and fun competition pulled me in right away. By the end of that first session, I knew this wasn’t just a casual afternoon at the park. It was the start of something new.

Since that day in 2023, pickleball has become more than a hobby. It’s a way to stay active, connect with people, and challenge myself in a sport that rewards both skill and creativity. I love the fast pace, the strategy at the kitchen line, and the feeling of improvement every time I step on the court. Most of all, I enjoy the community—players of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels coming together for the love of the game.

Pickleball has given me energy, focus, and a sense of fun that I didn’t know I was missing. And every time I play, I’m reminded of that sunny day at the park when it all began.

My Journey Into Biking

Biking has been one of the most rewarding and freeing parts of my life. Over the years, I’ve explored the world on three very different wheels—road bikes, mountain bikes, and e‑bikes—each offering its own kind of adventure.

Road Biking

There’s something special about the rhythm of a long road ride: the steady cadence, the open air, and the quiet challenge of pushing a little farther each time. My longest ride so far is 89 miles, a day that tested my endurance and reminded me how powerful consistency and mindset can be. Road biking keeps me grounded, focused, and always chasing that next personal best.

Mountain Biking

When I want adrenaline and unpredictability, I head for the trails. Mountain biking forces me to stay sharp—reading the terrain, adjusting on the fly, and trusting my instincts. Every ride feels like a mini-adventure, full of climbs, drops, and moments that make me appreciate nature in a whole new way.

E‑Biking

E‑bikes opened the door to a different kind of fun. They’re perfect for long scenic rides, exploring new areas, or just enjoying the outdoors without worrying about steep hills slowing me down. It’s biking with a boost, and it’s helped me ride farther and more often while still getting a great workout.

Biking has shaped how I approach challenges—on the road, on the trail, and in everyday life. It keeps me active, curious, and always ready for the next ride.

How I got Into Table Tennis

Table tennis has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. What started as a simple game in the basement or at family gatherings quickly grew into something much bigger. I was drawn to the speed, the precision, and the way a small paddle and ball could create such intense focus and excitement.

As I played more, I realized table tennis wasn’t just about hitting the ball back and forth. It was about timing, footwork, spin, and strategy. I loved experimenting with different strokes, learning how to read opponents, and discovering how small adjustments could completely change the outcome of a rally.

Table tennis became my go‑to sport because it challenged both my mind and my body. It sharpened my reflexes, improved my coordination, and taught me patience and discipline. Even today, it remains one of my favorite ways to stay active, compete, and have fun.

Table tennis shaped the way I approach other sports—especially pickleball and biking—by giving me a foundation of quick reactions, hand‑eye coordination, and strategic thinking. It’s a sport that continues to inspire me, one rally at a time.

My Hiking Journey

Hiking has become one of the most grounding and meaningful parts of my life. What started as a simple way to get outside slowly grew into a passion for exploring new trails, challenging myself, and finding peace in nature. Every hike—whether short, steep, or scenic—has shaped the way I see the world and myself.

I first got into hiking out of curiosity. I wanted a break from screens, routines, and noise, so I tried a local trail. That first walk in the woods changed everything. The quiet, the fresh air, and the feeling of moving through nature at my own pace made me realize how much I had been missing.

Hiking quickly became more than exercise. It became a way to reset, reflect, and reconnect. I love the mix of challenge and calm—climbing uphill, catching my breath at the summit, and taking in views that make every step worth it. Each trail feels like its own little adventure, full of surprises and moments of clarity.

Hiking continues to inspire me to explore more, push a little farther, and enjoy the beauty around me. It’s a journey I’m still on, one trail at a time.
